This is made out of Hyperd 300. A very durable waterproof material. These ground cloths are great for putting under your hammock or in front of your tent. They are also great for spreading out your gear while packing or unpacking. Another thing I use mine for is to lay things out or sit on while eating lunch while backpacking or kayaking.
These ground cloths have large rings on each corner to stake it down when windy. We went with the large rings for people that don't want to carry extra stakes so that you could just use a random stick as a stake.
