The VectoX is similiar to the Vecto but it is more durable , has a 230 lb higher breaking point ( Vecto 220lb breaking point vs VectoX at 450lb breaking point) , and can handle boiling water. At only about 1/2 oz (14g) heavier and $1 more than their equal size Vecto counterpart we think it's worth the extra weight and expense for the extra durability and the ability to hold boiling water if necessary.
